Stacey
Stacey looks forward to greeting each of you at the front door and helping with your needs. She is also our dental surgery coordinator who guides each family through the many steps of this big event..
Stacey has lived in Anacortes for over 35 years and raised her two boys here. She loves Anacortes and enjoys all that the Pacific Northwest has to offer. Her many years as a parent, nanny, and Assistant Director of a preschool have made her passionate about the ethical treatment of children (and animals)!
When not behind the Playhouse Dental front desk, you will find Stacey out in beautiful forests with her truffle dog Heidi, finding these savory treasures for local chefs.
Maggie
Maggie started at Playhouse Dental as a mom in our practice. After volunteering in the Anacortes School District and coaching youth basketball for many years, she was ready to come back to the workforce and we scooped her up. Maggie’s bright energy is incredible! You can currently find her at the front desk answering calls and making everyone feel welcome.
Inspired by her twin boys, Maggie loves everything about kids! She especially enjoys being able to watch them learn and grow.
When not at Playhouse, Maggie and her family are most often outdoors. They love to travel, hike and kayak!
Lizette
Lizette was born and raised in Anacortes and absolutely loves living in the Skagit Valley! She is the middle child of three in a Mexican American family and speaks Spanish at home and considers it a blessing to be able to communicate in both languages.
Lizette has always known that she wanted to work in the dental field ; she loved her early dental visits and was born with a bottom tooth... so maybe it was a sign!
There’s never a dull moment during the work day, and Lizette brings her clinical experience to our front desk team, as they work to create relationships with both the child(ren) and with the parents. Children make her laugh with how they express themselves and look at the world.
Aidan
Aidan is one of those calm and confident voices that answer your phone calls and greets you at the front desk. He often demonstrates his love of laughter, and enjoys being able to make kids laugh, smile, or even just smirk.
Aidan has lived in a variety of places, and treasures his close-knit family as well as his extended family of choice. One of his core beliefs is that every child should have an opportunity to succeed.
Outside of work Aidan has MANY hobbies (fixing lawnmowers, developing video games, karaoke and more). You will usually find him with his side-kick , a Corgi American Eskimo 9yo “puppy” who loves exploring and getting lost in tall grass!. Rumor has it he is an extremely photogenic dog. 🙂
Maria
You can find this organizational wizard in the center of our practice… the sterilization room is where she ensures that everyone has what they need! Her quiet mastery of our inventory hints that she might have been a quartermaster in another life. Actually her background is with preschoolers, and she revels in the funny stories that kids come up with.
Maria lives on Whidbey Island and loves to hang out with her family when she isn’t painting or reading. She is dreaming of international travel in her future.
Jeromey
At Playhouse, Jeromey is always hard at work on our NUMBERS! Verifying insurance and submitting claims and making sure that our financial communications are both fair and clear.
Jeromey worked at the front desk for 5 years before taking a hiatus in the ice cream business. (ask him his favorite flavor…) We are fortunate to have him back in his new position as he revels in the “happy noise” emanating from the reception area and playhouse.
Outside of work, he is quick to drive his kubota tractor around the farm he shares with his partner and his son. They grow veggies and raise a menagerie of critters including 20+ chickens/ducks, cats, dogs, tortoises, and a bird! Indoors, you will find him talking to and tending his 100+houseplants, some of which have followed him to work. 🙂
Audrey
As an experienced restorative hygienist, Audrey values helping a child have a positive dental experience especially during the toughest types of dentistry. Being able to assist and guide children through their treatment appointments and the reward of seeing them succeed, the sense of pride and accomplishment they exude is immeasurable.
Born in California, Audrey moved around alot as her dad was in the USAF, in fact the majority of the men in her family have served in the armed forces. Eventually they settled in WA and her roots in the Pacific NW have grown deep.
Her grandchildren keep the twinkle in her eye, and she has a host of critters including three dogs and two cats. If that weren’t enough you can find her out in the garden or working on a home project.
Madysen
Madysen has had a “taste for dentistry” since she chomped on her dentist’s thumb as a small child! She grew up in Skagit Valley and was inspired by her sister to explore dental assisting.
She enjoys being able to teach children everyday about the importance of oral health and their ability to “take charge” of their smile. Maddy finds that working as a team and having fun is key!
Outside of work you may find Maddy surrounded by her three cats: Swiper, Gracie an Midnight; or walking dogs for her mom. Alternatively, she enjoys connecting with nature while camping with family and friends.
Michelle
This dynamo was raised in Sedro Woolley and attended a technical college in Everett WA, for dental assisting. Michelle has worked her magic in both pediatric and oral surgery practices for many years. Her passion is working with the kids and is happy to be back at Playhouse Dental helping each child be successful… every time!
Michelle is the sparkle in a home full of male energy. Married to a commercial fisherman, they are blessed with two sons and two “Big Boy” cats (Charlie is a polydactyl and Huxley is a Maine Coon). You can find her family playing games, camping, boating, shooting, biking, watching movies and much much more.
'Chelle loves a good “Girls’ Day” with friends and her very close family. They may be baking, shopping, doing makeup, nails or adding to her purse collection!
Adiana
As the youngest member of the Playhouse team, Adiana brings a playful energy to the clinic. Her favorite thing about working with children is their giggles! She loves introducing kids to the “big chair” as she helps transform nervous children into fans of Playhouse Dental.
From a close-knit family in Mt. Vernon, Adiana has two older brothers, who have given her resilience and a nephew, with whom she loves to create art, or burn off energy at the park.
Taylor
Taylor is a dental assistant who loves working with kids, because “Every day is something new!” She admires the creativity, honesty and resilience of children, and finds working with their families rewarding.
Born and raised in Colorado, Taylor married her high school sweetheart and followed him to Washington as part of his navy career. They enjoy hiking as they explore the Pacific NW with their dogs Moose and Rocky. Taylor nurtures a creative outlet in painting… be it walls, landscapes, or portraits.
Emily
New to the dental field, Emily is a wonderful listener, who enjoys discovering what children have to share. She beams when they confide that “they don’t hate the dentist anymore.” This is consistent with her childhood award as a “Champion of Change”, received at age 11 and a visit to the White House.
Outside of working hours, you may find Emily taking walks, enjoying local night life or planning her next adventure.
Jojo
As a mother and former para-educator, Jojo has learned to adapt quickly to the ever-changing realities of children. She does this beautifully as one of our clinical dental assistants, and up-front as a backup receptionist.
Jojo was born and raised in Portland Oregon, the oldest (and shortest) in a family with 3 brothers. While she loves living in the PNW, she wishes it were 75° and sunny year round.
When not at work, Jojo is extremely busy being chauffeur to her kids. They are involved in soccer, softball, cheer, swimming, gymnastics, choir, the list goes on...
Favorite getaways include:Spontaneous road trips; Huge family vacations of 20+ people; Date nights with her husband <3
Isa
Isabelli is from Brazil, and came to the USA after meeting her soon-to-be husband at a wedding in Canada. She always considered dentistry as a career option, and ended up in teaching instead. When the opportunity arose to join the Playhouse Dental Team as a dental assistant and learn “on the job” she jumped at the opportunity and quickly fit right in.
Isa loves working with kids! She recognizes that each child is different and that makes each day fly by as she guides them through the experience of “a visit to the dentist.”
Isa’s outside interests include playing pickleball, going to the gym, playing games or watching movies / tv shows.
